What. A. Giving Day!
Stortfordians Give - and you truly DID!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of OS, parents and former parents around the world, we are thrilled to announce that together you raised…£87,720 (including matched and challenge funding!)
Smashing our £50,000 target and showing just how powerful this community is. Gifts came from £5 to £50,000 - every single one making a difference.
Where your generosity is going:
£34,768 → Regenerating the Doggart Pavilion through our Century in the Making project
£52,952 → Transformational bursaries, opening doors for future pupils
Your support is changing lives right now and for years to come.
A special shout out
A huge thank you to Old Stortfordian Frank Balzebre (AH, 72–73), whose matched gift helped propel this year’s campaign to new heights. Frank joined the College as an American exchange student and still remembers his time here with deep gratitude.
Giving Day Highlights
From Victorian Day magic…to a virtual trek from Land’s End to John O’Groats…to brilliant student designed tote bags…
Your creativity, spirit and enthusiasm made this Giving Day unforgettable.
A global community, united
Messages poured in on our donor wall, and 189 online donors were joined by countless families taking part in student led and College wide activities.
Whether you donated, shared a post, joined an event or worked behind the scenes — thank you. Giving Day happens because of you.
To our pupils and staff: Your energy brought this campaign to life. We are so grateful.
Growing something special, together
Your support strengthens our community, enhances our campus, and helps build a College future generations will be proud of - just as we have done from small beginnings since 1868.
Thank you, Stortfordians. You gave - and you made an impact that lasts.
