The sports hall court crackled with energy as the long‑awaited OS vs College fixture made its triumphant return, delivering a match packed with speed, skill and sheer determination from both sides. From the very first centre pass, it was clear that this was going to be a contest to remember.
The College 1st Team girls put on a dazzling display, securing a well‑earned 39–28 victory over the OS squad in a match that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. With end‑to‑end, lightning‑fast play and goal‑for‑goal exchanges, the score narrowed to just two points at several nail‑biting moments. The OS team, playing together for the first time and with many travelling significant distances to take part, rose to the challenge brilliantly, showcasing teamwork, talent and tenacity throughout.

We were delighted to welcome Chris Forster (MJH, SUH, 82–90), OS Committee Treasurer, who kindly presented the prizes and added to the celebratory spirit of the evening.
The OS squad deserves enormous credit for their commitment and competitive spirit, the team demonstrated the enduring strength of OS sport and the joy of returning to play together.
